# clsTeamAssignmentCollection

`clsTeamAssignmentCollection` retrieves the team assignment roster for a policy via
`pk72846_view_policy.team_assign_query` ([SQL-VP-024](../../sql/SQL-024-team_assign_query.md)), and
is consulted by `clsPolicySecurity` to find the assigned Loss Control Consultant for the
loss-control access check ([BR-VP-008](../../business-rules.md#br-vp-008-loss-control-consultant-assignment-match-required)).

## Purpose
- Retrieves the team-member assignment roster for a policy via [SQL-VP-024](../../sql/SQL-024-team_assign_query.md).
- Drives demo-user masking of team-member contact fields via `Criteria.MaskData`.

## Behavioral notes
- `Item(TeamFunctions.LossControlConsultant)` returns `Nothing` if no team assignment exists for that function, which `clsPolicySecurity` treats as an access denial.*
